Park Damaged by Flash Flood
It rained and rained and rained. And it rained hard.
Tanner's Creek responded and the flooding carried plenty of upstream debris into and through the park.
We lost all of the playground mulch and suffered some erosion.
The worst of it is that a large tree trunk lodged against the teeter-totters, damaging them and causing the flood water to undermine their footings.
We would love to say we will have everything ship shape by opening in April, but we have very little budget beyond mowing.
It will now be up to County Council to determine if funds will be available to make repairs.
